I used this viewfinder with the MSM or NOMAD polar scope. The problem is, that the viewfinder has no direct connection points or a guide rail or similar with the polar scope. You put the viefinder on the polar scope and mount it with the three screws. But you have no guarantee that you have mount it exactly. If the viewfinder is only a little bit inclined with the polar scope, Polaris will not be on the right place and so MSM or NOMAD is not in a exact position. I have had this several times so my photos got star trails. I don't use the viewfinder any more. It would be nice if MSM could develop a polar scope with a built in right angle viewfinder.

Great experience in using. But it broke when fell down from.low height to the ground. This was disappointing. I still have a solid angle adapter from the polar scope manufacturer and use this one again.

It is a game changer for viewing. I have a plate holding 3 of my cervical vertebrae which makes looking through a strait sight difficult at best. This was the fix.

I've been using my Skyguider Pro star tracker for a while. I hated the alignment process as it's difficult for me to bend over to get Polaris positioned just right in the reticle. I recently saw the Right Angle Viewfinder online and decided to give it a try. This has made it far more pleasant for me to do that alignment as I can now do it standing. I'm now getting 4+ minute exposures with my camera and lens, and with much better result! I absolutely love the right angle viewfinder for the polarscope. I use it on both the Nomad and on the SkyWatcher StarAdventurer 2i. One issue I found with this was the plastic adapter that attaches it to a polarscope. I broke two of them (both where the viewfinder attaches to the adapter) after accidentally dropping the backsaver on the ground on two different occasions. Only then did I find the metal version of the adapter on the website. Get the metal version of the adapter. It is worth every penny.

My knees and my back thank you for this. Combined with a first approximate alignment using the laser (in the countryside in the absence of planes), this right angle viewfinder makes polar alignment super easy.
It was my first attempt at this exercise and I made it in less than 5 min.

Excellent product, should have ordered this a couple of years ago. I have it connected to Skywatcher Pro 2i. Works perfect!!
