The MSM Nomad with my election of Richard Tatti recommended components makes shooting quality images of the Milky Way so much easier. The set-up was easy to follow, and alignment with the South Celestial Pole via the phone mount was surprisingly straight forward. Got some great images on my first outing, making this a very worthwhile purchase.

I love this device. Admittedly, I was a bit concerned about how easy it was going to be to do the polar alignment and how effective it was going to be. After using it a couple of times, I am very comfortable aligning to the North Star and the results have been excellent working with wide angle lenses.
Well made as usual. It works well keeping everything balanced on the tripod.

So far, really good. Did lots of You Tube watching, and now very easy to use and results are ok. More practice required to fet better.
Have to reverse the tilt mount to get the traditional orientation of the adjustment knobs. Remove the tilt tightening handle, remove the tightening bolt, back the tilt adjustment bolt all the way out of the tilt mount. Remove the tilt mount (don't loose the plastic washers) and reverse it. Rethread the tilt adjustment bolt until the tilt tightening bolt can be reinserted. Rethread the tilt handle onto the tilt tightening bolt. No when the Seestar is correctly tilted, the pan adjustment knobs are facing you, not opposite you.
Easy to install and use on different scopes with different phones. I now see that the three axial approach is a must.
This thing is small and effective! Easiest way to achieve fast precise polar alignment in EQ Mode! Only downside is the 60° maximum - if you are nearer to the equator, you need to set the tripod uneven! Had that problem in Namibia. Would be cool if the wedge could be modified so that it goes down to maybe 75°…

The tracking works perfectly well in several test up to 3 minutes, sharp clear crisp stars… however the mount to position the tracker in the southern hemisphere is… not working great, plus the screw to attach the tracker to any other thing is not easy to fix, you might need special tools to fix it adequately… or it will eventually get loose. Buy the V plate or be ready for inconveniences...
The Move Shoot Move Nomad is an excellent portable star tracker. It's lightweight, easy to use, and provides reliable tracking for wide-field astrophotography.

Went to La Palma / Canaries last month. Amazing milky way and amazing shots with MSM Nomad. Canon R7 (APS-C sensor) with 85mm mounted on MSM, polar alignment simply done with iPhone App and easily targeted on Antares/Rho Ophiuchi wirh ball head. Flawless sharp stars @60 sec, on each and every frame!
This works great! Really made aligning with Polaris a lot easier than looking through my tracker, thanks!
