This edge replaced a much heavier fluid head. It significantly reduced the weight and complexity for my MSM Nomad tracker for my Canon R5.
Got the Phone mount, since I don't want to use the laser all the time in the night sky. Build quality looks good and I will test the mount in my vacation.
I have a reasonable amount of experience with photography but I only started this year to look up at the darkness. The NOMAD with the wedge provided a super easy and very affordable way to get into combining these two passions - capturing what the eye could not or only barely see.
My setup is modest: A Canon 700D with a Samyang 135mm lens, tethering right at the edge of what the NOMAD is supposed to be able to do if Youtube is to be believed.
Polar alignment with the (illuminated) polar scope and the wedge was simple enough, so I set out to do some testing: how long an exposure could I get away with at what is essentially 200mm focal length: If I pixel-peep then at 120s I can see the starts to start trailing but honestly at 100% zoom I cannot. But my eyes are old and the polar alignment on every night might not be as good. So I'm making 60s my default for now.
I since took absolutely stunning pictures of various nebulas if Cygnus, the Andromeda Galaxy and a beautiful composition of the Heart & Soul nebulae with the χ & h Persei star clusters in the other corner of the picture. Bortle 3 and around 3 hours of exposure: crisp stars, good detail on the nebulae.... I am in love.
I've got the "Nomad Kit – Hudson Henry’s Pick". It is basic kit, but has everything I need to elevate my stars photography. The build and the fitting of the different parts is freat. Love it!

I have used several time it on a trip to the Azores, especially for taking pictures of the Milky Way. You can rely on it and it is very easy to use it.
It takes a bit of trial and error to position the phone camera more of less in front of the eyepiece, but then it is quite intuitive to center it and get a good, stable view through the phone. It works very well so far.
Firstly their star tracker is an amazing product. In addition their customer service support was just as good. They responded to my inquiries quickly and resolved my issues. Well done.

I like it. It makes things easier. If you start with astro photography it is more than helpful. In the beginning it is a bit hard to finde Polaris (and I am not using the laser, as it is forbidden in Germany). But then it is not so important to watch for the rules and you can take longer shots.
Honestly, I regret not getting one when I first bought my Nomad because it's a game changer for a quicker and more accurate polar alignment. If you're considering buying a Nomad (which you should), make sure to get this viewfinder too and save your back a lot of pain.
I am very satisfied with the headlamp. Most headlamps have one button that turns on both white and red light. Moreover, most start with white light, which is very distracting in the case of astronomy. This is the first headlamp that has a separate button for red and white light. Which is exactly what I was looking for. Moreover, it is a rechargeable headlamp - another big advantage that there is no need to deal with changing batteries. Overall, everything is nicely done and the headlamp itself is not heavy and the price is comparable to similar headlamps on the market, which, however, have disadvantages. I definitely recommend it to every astronomer.
This moose should move. Rotator is great. It’s compact light, but with really good performance and convenience and functionality all in all and A+.

C’est un super petit accessoire pour les photos nocturnes, j’ai réussi à faire des clichés de NGC 7000 M31 avec un ciel moyen des résultats sont assez stupéfiants avec un objectif de 105 mm en plein format. J’arrive à des pauses de 90 secondes. Sans problème, j’ai essayé un plus gros objectif, le sigma, 150-600mm là c’est plus dur. J’arrive a des pauses de 20 secondes mais à f6,3 ce un peut limite ! Mais sinon, pour un setup léger, c’est parfait

The fact that such a small tracking motor can give you a sky without trails for more than 2 minutes for smaller lenses makes it worthwhile. Within the payload limit, you can also go for larger lenses, but pay attention to the balance of your setup. The phone alignment option does wonders, in particular when the sky is partially cloudy and you have to prepare beforehand.
Small enough to take up trail. Easy set up. I love the laser pointer. Tracks beautifully with sharp detail at a 4min exposure. Locking everything tight takes a little work.
Nice item well made. I know it’s not Astro physics but would be nice to come with instructions. I found out what the hex keys do but not a clue what the flat screw is for
