Knob B & Handle:

Knob B controls the altitude adjustment.

Handle Turn the handle toward Knob B to tighten and stabilize the altitude adjustment mechanism. In this state, the Wedge remains firmly supported while Knob B can still be used for fine altitude adjustment.
Turn the handle in the opposite direction to loosen the mechanism for broader adjustment.
The handle can also be pulled outward to reposition its operating angle for easier use. Repositioning the handle will not affect the current tightened or loosened status.

How to use Panning Base with Wedge?
The adjustment knob of the panning base extends slightly below the base, so it may not be compatible with tripods that have a large, flat mounting surface, as the knob could come into contact with the tripod.
