I’ve been using Move Shoot Move products for a while now, and I genuinely love them. They’re super easy to set up, lightweight to carry around, and make a huge difference in my astrophotography sessions.
The Dew heater arrived in good condition. It fits my 102mm telescope tube. Very easy to install and use with my power tank battery. This item is surprisingly affordable if you consider what amateur astronomers are accustomed to paying for equipment.
Three power levels are 2.5W, 4W and 8W. Mild, warmish, hot.
Be good if that explained that in the product info.
Fast delivery and in very good conditions. Portable with light weight, they are always in my camera bag, thanks.
Lens fogging, either from dew or frost, can be a big problem with time lapse photography. Losing frames because of it can be a big setback for your project. Imagine a piece of gear that minimizes the chances of that happening.
Recently, I used a lens warmer on a 48 hour time lapse shoot during which temperatures would hover around freezing during the day and approach zero F at night. There was not a speck of frost in any of the frames from that shoot.
The heater draws about .6 A at full power, so the load isn't excessive. My setup is powered by a deep-cycle marine battery, so I used a 2 ampere USB adapter to step down the 12 volts from the battery.
Easy to set up and use. Definitely a grief-saver.
Lens Warmer/Dew Heater
The band has kept dew off the lens so I am able to shoot without the lens clouding up. I don't have to think about continually checking to make sure the lens is clear. It is also no that big like other produkts.
This is a must have accessory to for astrophotographers.
I was one of the first to order a MSM rotator from India. The first batch of rotators came with rotary switches for selecting the various options. Even during the initial stages MSM were very prompt with their service support and advice. Every time I have looked for some guidance, MSM are responsive and supportive. I have mainly used the MSM rotator as a rotator for shooting timelapses but I have used it sometimes as a travker to shoot the milkyway and deep sky objects like the Orion. The MSM rotator has performed flawlessly in every condition. Now I own two - the original one and a new version and they are both always in my bag where ever I travel. The next improvement I am looking for is longer lasting batteries although I agree 5 hour battery time is usually enough but it would be nice to use it over 2 - 3 days without having to charge it but if that means a heavier rotator then I will have to be satisfied with the present one. One of the best things about this rotator is the very handy weight !!! So if you are timelapse photographer, a milkyway chaser or a deep sky object shooter - the MSM rotator is a must have in your camera bag !!
This is a very easy product to use and works great for my long night shoots.
The Nomad startracker was easy to use from day 1 even for complete amateur in astrophotography like me. The images with 2 minute exposure are super sharp and it is super compact and light compared to other similar tools. The only issue which I have is with the ballhead which I ordered together in a set. It got loose at the base which makes it useless and I had to buy another one to use the product.
Funciona de un manera fácil y muy correcta. Mis lentes no se volverán a empañar nunca.
Hi guys, I recently received my MSM order with the lens warmer/dew band. I was stoked that it arrived within a few days. The following weekend I took the ute for an hour drive to test run the new toys. A setting moon created nice light for the foreground, the MSM and heater worked as they should. I'm currently waiting for clean skys for a better run with the astro images.
Thankyou, MSM
Good quality, neat
Amazing product. Super necessary on those cold nights out. Your lens will thank you!!
I am very satisfied with the products I ordered. Each one does its job.
The MSM Lens Warmer/ Dew Heater Band is well worth buying.
With 3 heat settings I could choose obviously how warm I want it..and powered via USB to my small power bank.
With some cold , clear nights and lots of moisture in the air I was very pleased to have bought this.
The adjustable Velcro strap wraps neatly/snugly round pretty much whatever size lens you have..
Highly recommended!
Does what is advertised, I can see myself buying it again. But at the end of the day it's just a lense heater
Does what it was meant to do. I've only used it once so far, but it worked perfectly fine and I had it on its lowest setting. It's also thin and not all bulky. Just know that you need an external power adapter to power it on.
This is by far the best lens warmer I’ve used, Others that I’ve tried were wider and interfered with the focus ring on some lenses. The MSM product is narrower and does not interfere. The controller works great and the medium setting is enough for most nights. Great product!
Cumple con su cometido evitando que se forme rocío en la lente
Works great , much thinner than most others , a bit stiff but should soften up with use , good price !.
A simply must-have item, no matter the sky object - this item will save your gear and your images.
Great value and reliable gear. I tested it on a very cold night after a storm in LA and I didn’t have any condensation.
I was very impressed with the ease of use. It kept my lens from fogging. Very small investment for such a handy tool.
My daughter travels with groups to get photos of events or scenery. She said this is something she could really use.
