Msm review

I received my MSM Nomad very quickly once the Chinese New Year holidays ended, and I have to say the product has excellent build quality and durable materials. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to properly test it yet because I live in the city, where light pollution and tall buildings make astrophotography quite challenging. However, I’m planning a summer trip to the beach, in an area with very low light pollution, and that’s when I’ll finally put it to the test.

In the meantime, I’ve already mounted it on my tripod and simulated polar alignment, and it’s impressively easy to adjust using the wedge. The setup feels intuitive and precise.

One thing I do want to highlight is that the package includes a large number of accessories, tools, and very small parts that can be easily misplaced. It would be extremely helpful if MSM could include a small pouch or case to store everything—tools (Allen keys), accessories, the tracker, laser, wedge, etc. Keeping all components organized in one place would make the experience even better.
