NOMAD Grab & Go for Beginner and Experienced Photographers, 🎁 Holiday Sale is ON!
While I haven't had the opportunity to set up and use my new Move Shoot Move Nomad yet, I am giving a 5 star rating for the great deal I got on my purchase and for how quickly my Nomad came. I am new to the idea of using a star tracker and since I will be attending a night photography conference in May, this seemed like an affordable piece of equipment for me to utilize. Will be trying to get things set up and start learning how to use very soon. Had heard the Nomad is great for beginners!
Nomad tracker is fantastic tracker. Minimal setup and compact. Easy to use and lots of support online from the user group.
I'm a hobby photographer who started doing astrophotography for the first time in an environment with a lot of light pollution. I took a few test shots of stars that were perfect, but then the weather was bad for weeks. It was very easy to setup. The photos were crisp and sharp. In a month and a half, I'm going to a dark environment specifically to use the MSM. I'm very curious to see what that will be like. Our next vacation will also be to a dark zone!
I have the phone alignment, but I have to sit on the ground to see what I'm doing. That could be more convenient. Laser isn't an option because there's a lot of air traffic.

As a professional shooting nightscapes for many years now this was my first time trying out a tracker. I have to say I found polar alignment to be a breeze and I was shooting two three minute exposures in no time at all. Highly recommended.
