Another thing that I liked is a Bluetooth button to activate shutter. A very big advantage is that it has a hardware switch to turn it off, so the chances of finding it completely discharged after half a year being turned off are pretty low.

Additional things to know about usage:

1. Change of eyepiece requires adjusting phone position. Especially in case of
interchanging between one and quarter inch and two inch barrels.
2. A bigger barrel may provide a wider field of view.
3. Lens flare requires covering the eyepiece from the background light.
4. You can't comfortably use it with Stellarium while you point your phone to the desired location if you're using a diagonal mirror.
5. Obviously your camera controls are limited by your phone camera software.

Summary:

There are pros and cons to this piece of equipment and it will not replace specialized equipment. But for me personally it adds a level of versatility to my setup and allows basically registering observed objects. It is nice to have this adapter if you call your friends to enjoy the observation and they want to take a photo on their own phone.

I bought the larger Tridaptor after reading several reviews in forums. I am an experienced amateur astrophotographer and also recently started birding (birdwatching). It fits perfectly on all my telescope’s eyepieces. I have small 1.25” and large 2” eyepieces. Maneuvering my iPhone 17 is a breeze while attached to the Tridaptor. I also use it with my spotting scopes too. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to capture images or video through a scope.

The TRIDAPTER is an amazing camera adapter. I could not believe how well made and solid this was. It fit my phone, lined up with the camera lens, and securely mount to my telescope perfectly! Nice smooth precision adjustments and fits both my 1.25" as well as my 2" eye pieces with precision. The adon remote camera shutter button connected to my phone with no issues and worked for both the camera shutter and video with ease. I could not be happier with this!

I think this is the best telescope phone adapter , very solid full metal body , not too heavy , easy to use .

It's easy to assemble and adjust. In short, very pleasant to use.

The best with this adapter is all the adjustmentoptions it have. That make its easy to fit your mobil. And its made of solid aluminium. I have tryed many others,but this is the best. I higly recomend it.
