I purchased the laser kit along with phone holder kit to help me learn Polar alignment. Unfortunately everytime I've gone to use it, clouds have crept in but it's very visible in the sky when in use so will definitely make alignment easier and faster along with the phone holder to help with initial alignment

The product is really useful and excellent . It works with both types of Eq mount guiders like Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTi / Skywatcher Star Adventurer/Skywatcher Star Adventurer2i//Skywatcher Star Adventurer mini/iOptron Skyguider Pro. The adapter fits beautifully and the laser is absolutely easy to handle. I love MSM products.

Although the laser kit's website says it's not compatible with the Ioptron Skyguider Pro+ipolar, I disassembled the ipolar and the laser kit fit perfectly. Now it's time to get out in the field and try it out. Thank you for this easy equipment.

In my Bortle 5 backyard I don’t usually experience a “false Polaris” in the polar scope of my Star Adventurer but it has happened under dark skies. I recently experienced that and used a borrowed green laser that I held against the SA’s housing and was sold on the idea. The MSM laser is very easy to attach and remove without messing with the polar scope eyepiece, and on the first try Polaris was halfway between the reticle’s “clock” circle and the center mark, no confusion at all. The price was very acceptable as well. Recommended!

It was a quick way to adjust the tripod and tracker.

This laser makes polar aligning so much easier! The green laser is much more visible then expected. All you do for aligning is point it at Polaris and it’s done in seconds. I’ve used this for wide-field Milky Way photos. If precision is needed you can easily remove it after it gets you in the zone and tweak it using the traditional thru the eyepiece method.

Polar aligning my Skyguider Pro has been an issue for me. I have difficulty getting Polaris in the reticle in skies that are too bright as well as in much darker sites as there are too many stars that become confusing. I decided to give the Laser Kit a try to see how it might help.
The laser and provided threaded adapter were very easy to attach to the SGP. I went out on the 1st clear night to give it a try. The laser was very visible and I was able to very quickly align to Polaris. For this 1st trial, I did not go any further and just accepted this alignment. I then did 30 2 minute exposures with my Canon R6 M2 camera and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. I shot the Dark Horse region of the Milky Way as a test. The stars at the 2 minute exposures were very sharp. Next time I’ll try pushing the exposure time higher…
This has really improved the time to align as well as increasing my confidence level. The $$ spent on this were well worth it to me!

I have purchased the kit because I find it cumbersome to polar align through the polar scope.
This is much easier and faster to do with the laser kit

I bought both the laser and the right angle viewer. Polar alignment takes me about 5 mins now! Absolute game changer for me!
