I am very satisfied with the headlamp. Most headlamps have one button that turns on both white and red light. Moreover, most start with white light, which is very distracting in the case of astronomy. This is the first headlamp that has a separate button for red and white light. Which is exactly what I was looking for. Moreover, it is a rechargeable headlamp - another big advantage that there is no need to deal with changing batteries. Overall, everything is nicely done and the headlamp itself is not heavy and the price is comparable to similar headlamps on the market, which, however, have disadvantages. I definitely recommend it to every astronomer.

White light during Astrophotography presents all sorts of problems so I purchased this because it has a red light.
It also has a white light for normal use.

This head torch is the best on the market for Quality, Functionality and Price.
I’m really pleased with how it fits, works perfectly and recharges with ease.

Frankly, I am not satisfied with this purchase. It is quite inconvenient to cycle through the strobe mode each time just to turn off the light. I have been looking for a headlamp with a simple sliding switch for quick on/off operation, but it seems that such designs are not available anymore.

Convenient to use, hands free, recharges like a cell phone. Powerful lights. I use the strobe mode with both white and red lights lit when walking the dog late at night to ward off coyotes. Also a go-to item when the power goes out at night unexpectedly. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a headlamp that was Red only. I found the Astrophotography/Red LED Headlamp to be as close as I could find. I really like the fact that one button is for Red and the other is for White. Great Job!

In principle, a good and practical tool for astrophotographers. However, the rubber cover on the switches slips out of its mounting easily, which makes it difficult to replace it in the dark so that the on/off function works properly.

The great thing about this headlamp is value for money, a separate switch for both the red and white lights which makes it so much easier at night in the dark and its light weight. I would highly recommend it.

Easy to set up and use. And its small so its easy to carry.

Super handy red headlamp for using during Astrophotography. Used it on my first trip in Utah/Arizona, having both white light and red light available is very handy.
Also the duration of the battery is nice.
Also handy if you have to crawl out of your tent and look for the bathroom somewhere ...

I use it for night photography and it is perfect.

I use these headlamps every time I go out in my backyard in the dark to make adjustments to my tri-pod. The light is very clear and bright in order for me make degree adjustments on my telescope. Can’t wait to take these camping in the summer!

It's great to have a headlamp with separate button for the red light. I rated 4 because ideally you don't want to cycle through the flashing red to turn off. A simple on off operation would be great.

Nice addition to my night gear. A separate switch for the red and white led lights prevents cycling through the white light to illuminate the red light.

After using head torches from two other companies I ordered a pair of MSM head torches. The features I found to be superior are:
1) Separate switches for red and white light.
2) Long rechargeable battery life.

This headlamp works as it should. Never need to use the white light. MSM responded well to my requests and shipped it quickly. No complaints, Strongly recommende

The headlamp allows a choice of either white light or red light. I’ve been using only the red light function for astrophotography and it works very well.
It is powered by a rechargeable battery that seems to last for several hours. The only little inconvenience is that the charging cable is different from that of the NOMAD and the laser pointer charger but that’s not really a big deal. It come with the proper cable.
All in all I’m very happy with this purchase.
