How it works?
The mechanism behind Move Shoot Move star tracker: Earth is rotating. We know our earth rotates once every 23h56m4s. Its rotation axis (almost) goes through Polaris. Sars are not stationary relative to our earth. As the photo below shows, the stars...

After some initial difficulties with the charging cable, I was able to use the tracker successfully. The first pictures of the Milky Way are breathtaking. Thank you for this technology, which allows me to take great photos.
Best regards, K.H. Schröder

Great small form factor product for lightweight setups

Tracks very well with the rough laser alignment. I might get the polar scope later on for additional refinement, but it's a terrific product!

Absolut perfekt

I received the Nomad in time!
So Let’s Test it, and what should i say?! Milkyway and all sourounding Stars are crisp Sharp While a one Minute Expose.
2. Test Andromeda with 300mm and my r8.
Spot polestar, Align and start shootin. Also one Minute Expose. Stack of 25 and again crisp Sharp Stars and that Details. Awesome!

The best decision for Astro!

Great service, quality, light weight and compact size

This is a beginner's review.
-First, customer service was excellent! Ordered wrong item combination, but got a fast response and allowed me to change and receive a refund. Helped me track the item as there was delay due to typhoon...despite being affected, the delivery was still quite fast.
-Items received in good order. Almost all pieces are metal, great quality. Feel very solid after setting up, haven't tested the tracking accuracy though.
-It is light and compact: I bought the phone kit (for Southern Hemisphere shoot), plus the wedge and a V mount, total weight is only about 1.4 kg, and when put back to the boxes, the total volume is less than 5L, and even smaller without the boxes.

-Possible improvement: it would be nice to have a larger bag to put the Nomad and all accessories together. Now it only has a tiny bag for Nomad alone.

Exactly what I was after

My nomad is compact, light and feels good quality with its metal finish. I've gotten some good photos with it already and look forward to using it more now that long winter nights are fast approaching.

Nomad

I was able to charge the on board battery and research how to use the scope the same day I received the Nomad and was taking photos that same night. My 28-70mm zoom lens no longer has star trails using the laser. My 400mm requires pretty precise polar alignment with the scope but once set, I have no issues pushing past a 30 second exposure.

I wish there was instructions on using the scope and a polar clock, it took me a while to find a good app to use with it. Currently using Polar Scope for Android to get the alignment correct.

ottimo prodotto

Ottimo inseguitore, leggero e abbastanza preciso. Sto provando diverse ottiche per capire fino a dove si può spingere. Sarebbe stupendo se in futuro ci fosse la possibilità di un controllo per una piccola guida in modo da poter usare ottiche più spinte.
