I contacted Hanna at MSM because there was some rotational movement / slippage in the lower V Plate which is attached to the Nomad as the camera rotated. As a result the stars were not pinpoint. Hanna was very helpful and suggested I replaced the Nomad Adapter. This is because the latest version of the Nomad Adapter also has a Set Screw in addition to the D Ring which can be tightened with an Allen Key and used to help lockdown the V Plate. I’m pleased to say this solved the problem.
Original adapter that came with my Nomad was missing the locking screw, MSM sent a replacement immediately. Works perfectly.
Having placed the oder for this part, I was propmtly advised that it was not avaialbe in Australia. I was given the option of cancelling the order or waiting a few extra days for it to be shipped from overseas. Opting for the overseas delivery, it was delivered promptly. Great service.
