I needed a ball head that could take the weight of my camera and lens on my MSM rotator, being able to pan without loosening the ball head is a great upgrade to my setup.

I purchased this ball head as a replacement for another head that was not sturdy enough to handle the weight and leverage of a tracker.
The Heavy Duty head is far better at managing the weight and leverage, almost as if it were designed for it!
The head is well-priced and much cheaper than other alternatives. It is great value and works well.

I had ordered a Double-Panning Heavy Duty Ball Head and it shipped and arrived very quickly. However, I was having some challenges with it that I was not expecting and reached out to their customer service department and received a very quick response. They decided to send me a replacement unit which I received within just a couple of days. Excellent communication through out the entire process. Very Happy with the results, I took the ball head on a trip to Yellowstone and it worked great with my MSM Nomad as it was my first attempt at trying astro panorama's.

This is exactly what I need to do Milky Way Panos with my MSM. It allows you to pan the camera without loosening the ball sh that you can do a perfectly aligned pano. Great product and very well built.

Great panning ball head, that makes things easier for creating pano. The double panning can be used for different situations including vertical and horizontal panning at the same time if need be

After getting the NOMAD from MSM I realized that I needed a better ball head to make alignment and camera movement easier. I like that the ball head has two notches for those times when you have to tilt the camera way back to get an angle really high up. My other ball head has only one. The MSM ball head offers great value for the cost.

I've enjoyed using this ball head. Yes, it's a little bigger than my other ball heads, but its feel is solid and movement is smooth. Definitely recommend this.
