Exactly what I was after

My nomad is compact, light and feels good quality with its metal finish. I've gotten some good photos with it already and look forward to using it more now that long winter nights are fast approaching.

Nomad

I was able to charge the on board battery and research how to use the scope the same day I received the Nomad and was taking photos that same night. My 28-70mm zoom lens no longer has star trails using the laser. My 400mm requires pretty precise polar alignment with the scope but once set, I have no issues pushing past a 30 second exposure.

I wish there was instructions on using the scope and a polar clock, it took me a while to find a good app to use with it. Currently using Polar Scope for Android to get the alignment correct.

Ottimo inseguitore, leggero e abbastanza preciso. Sto provando diverse ottiche per capire fino a dove si può spingere. Sarebbe stupendo se in futuro ci fosse la possibilità di un controllo per una piccola guida in modo da poter usare ottiche più spinte.

Easy to use

A very easy to use star tracker. The only thing I miss, is a case to put all the accessories together. There is a case only for the Nomad.

So far so good

The moon and weather were not ideal. I might test it again this week-end, but the settings are fine and easy - thanks for having added the video with the phone setup.

Great product

The MSM Nomad took my photography to the next level. It is easy to setup, it weighs nothing, but you can use up to 3kg on it ! I've used a 24mm to shoot 2min long exposures, and no star trails ! I love it 👍

Beginner review

I have just started astrophotography and recently have come across this little gem.
For me it's portability, simplicity, price where a deciding factor. I have tried to take 1.5 min plus exposures with my Canon 6d l, milky way, and random parts of the sky. It holds tracking really well.
