To all users who've bought the Z or V platform before 6th Feb 2021,
I hope all is well with you. Sorry to disturb you, I have one urgent message to share with you, so I have to get out from the holiday and notify you first.
It's about the Z/V mount that you've bought from us recently. Last week we got a message from a user, his Z mount's top screw breaks.
Then we investigated it with our factory, we found our supplier provided us with the wrong screw, it's not made of stainless steel but iron.
This is conflict with our philosophy, our core value is to be honesty and transparency to our supporters. We can not endure lies. We owe you all and Alyn Wallace an apology, this should have been avoided if we've give extra caution on this, we ignored this parts in production. Really Sorry.
After a discussion with some members in our MSM user group,we would like to proceed it this way.
- Option 1: Wait for a replacement. We will send replacement screws to all of you by default. It will be sent to the same address as your last order. As a temp solution, we recommend you swap one screw from another quick release plate, 1/4'', Stainless Steel.Then, you have time to wait, the replacement may arrive you around 20 days, as currently the factory is still on holiday.
- Option 2: Buy locally. If you need it earlier, then you can buy it locally. Here is a reference link on Amzon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI3J7G2. Just let us know your cost, we will compensate you.
- Option 3: Love support, If you can solve it by yourself, and do not want us to send a replacement and compensate you, just let me know. Thank you for your support. We owe you too much for this. I will apply for a 20% OFF discount code for your future orders.
