Improved polar alligment in seconds

The Move Shoot Move Nomad is an excellent portable star tracker. It's lightweight, easy to use, and provides reliable tracking for wide-field astrophotography.

Went to La Palma / Canaries last month. Amazing milky way and amazing shots with MSM Nomad. Canon R7 (APS-C sensor) with 85mm mounted on MSM, polar alignment simply done with iPhone App and easily targeted on Antares/Rho Ophiuchi wirh ball head. Flawless sharp stars @60 sec, on each and every frame!

This has been a fantastic addition to my Astro kit and with the laser pointer it is so simple to set up and start taking great photos.

Finally had a chance out to get out and use my new tracker, and I absolutely love the way that my pictures came out. So happy that I bought this. My only complaint is the screw that connects the red dial to the ball head, or in my case, the ze bracket, kept coming loose. I would have to tighten it down every 20 to 30 minutes or my camera would fall to the side if you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear it. I’ll keep working on a solution for next time, but regardless, I’m so happy that I bought this.

I just got back from a 4-day backpacking trip where I used the MSM, and I captured some amazing photos!
I have always wanted to use a tracker on these types of trips, but weight is usually a major issue. With the MSM, the simple, light, and compact design is truly a game changer! I absolutely love it!

so amazing a motor this size and inexpensive will track my camera with the exact rotation of planet earth. pleased with the results

I needed a ball head that could take the weight of my camera and lens on my MSM rotator, being able to pan without loosening the ball head is a great upgrade to my setup.

I took the Nomad out for the first time last week. I was absolutely amazed at the results on my first try. I suggest watching some Youtube videos on setup and techniques first.

I purchased the Easy Focus because I was having difficulty getting stars as sharp as possible. The simple Star Focus Filter made it a lot easier and fits most of my Astro lenses. At 82mm, I got the 77mm step-down as well, which covers my three main lenses for Astro: 16mm, 20mm & 135mm f/1.8’s. Once focused, just be sure not to knock the focus ring; consider taping it if needed. I have found it to be simple, effective and well-priced.

I love this little star tracker!!! I got to use it for the first time last night and I was amazed at how well it worked. I even had it go 8 minutes and still no star trails!!! I also love how small and portable it is making it easy to travel with. It’s an awesome upgrade to my Astro photography and I’m so glad I got it. It was worth every penny!
