For installation, we recommend first removing the red cap on the back of the NOMAD, then sliding it into the holder and gently clicking it into place.

Why Paige Dana Recommends this Kit?

I have been using MSM trackers, since 2022 and the evolution from the original to the MSM Nomad has been evolutionary. The light weight and simplicity of use with such powerful tracking capabilities, makes the Nomad my favorite tracker.
MSM Nomad with the MSM Wedge, leveling base and 3D phone holder makes it so easy to capture an epic Milky way shot whether you are in the Northern or Southern Hemispheres.
The leveling base makes leveling adjustments so much easier - I have one on all my tripods.
The wedge is a must for accurate alignment, as is the 3D phone holder, which is a game changer! Getting a spot on alignment through a phone app and using the wedge to further refine that alignment is simple.
You cannot go wrong with this setup. Whether you are new to astrophotography or a seasoned astrophotographer, in the northern hemisphere or southern hemisphere, you won’t be disappointed.
