I have traditionally shot single exposure, or stacked Milky Way nightscapes, and the Move Shoot Move Nomad is my first star tracker.
I was impressed with the minamalist, compact design which conveniently fits into my backpack - even with the wedge, v-plate and low profile ballhead attached.
It was easy to setup and polar (I used the mobile phone technique popularised by Richard Tatti of NightscapeImages). For my few attempts, I went with an 80s exposure at 14mm, f1.8, ISO 320, and was surprised and delighted by the detail in the Milky Way. I also tried to capture a widefield 70mm view of Orion Nebula at 80s, f2.8, ISO 320
No doubt more practice will lead to better results.I would highly recommend the MSM nomad for anyone who has been doing nightscapes for some time, and looking to take the plunge into the world of tracked nightscape photography.
