For the price, it seems well built and easy to use. I really like the dual viewing ability (able to use the standard eyepiece and leave my camera on).
For years I have dabbled in deep sky with Binoculars and my venerable Feldstein Schmidt Cassegrain 6 inch scope. I decided at this price something I could use for higher magnification viewing might be a good idea...even more close lunar observations, especially with something smaller.
In a word ...WOW. A really terrific little scope, especially for the price. Have not had many clear skies yet, or not before my gedtime, but some lunar views were breathtaking.
Once you get past the reversed image is a pretty nice terrestrial scope as well, though the atmospheric distortion from heat waves can be pretty significant sometimes.
I can't wait to share the moon with my grandkids they this scope!
Excellent product and wonderful customer service from Hanna.
A solid construction and a great first telescope to start astronomy. Easy to set up and offering a nice image.
If it would have been delivered with a bag to transport it, it would have got 5 stars.
The MAK-90 is a great beginner's telescope for planetary viewing and astrophotography. It is light, compact, portable and easy to set up and use making it easy to take along with you on trips. The supplied Plossl eyepieces provide good and clear magnification making for enjoyable experience. All in all a great beginner's telescope at a very reasonable price.
I recently bought and used the MAK 90 telescope to capture moon, its compact and easy to carry and setup. Will try to capture planets soon.
I got this MAK90 to replace my old MEADE ETX 90 which was well used, but now the mirrors have gotten a little scratched and its due for replacing. The MAK90 has great viewing optics, its much brighter, when compared to the Meade which is good, because now I can choose my filters rather than having to live with pre-coated lens. All in all I'm very satisfied with the value, portability, and power of this nice little scope.
Well built and simple to use. I attach my Canon 80D to the telescope and focusing is simple and user friendly with the required attachments. I pre-ordered this item and customer service was great in ensuring I received to quickly when it was released. It's a great addition to my Move Shoot Move items!
It’s very light and handy to use
The mak 90 is the perfect user friendly portable scope with it's solid construction and value for money it complements my astrophotography gear perfectly
Until you actually yse one of theses, you may not realize how valuable it is for a nighttime viewing or photography session. It takes me ( I am 72) about 20 min for my eyes to fully adapt to the dark but this red light torch provides plenty of light to keep me from fumbling around in the fark for telescope set up and adjustment. Plus it frees both hands . The band is snug but very comfortable. I can wear it directly on my forehead or over a cap - it is very adjustable. I am extremely pleased with this product!
I have had the Move Shoot Move a couple of months or so now and have used it a few times. I think it is a great product, along with the accessories. They are smaller and lighter than the bigger star tracker I used before and easy to set up and use. I have also used it for time lapse. The results were good, but I think I can do better with a different setting, still learning!! All in all very happy with it and recommended for night and time lapse photograpy.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this excellent product. I purchased an iOptron Starguider Pro and for the first couple of days, it was very difficult to align Polaris in the small telescope view of the StarGuider as in the dark spots, there are no many stars closer to it. This little tool makes star align so easy even if you reach the spot after it’s dark ( it’s somehow easier to find and align Polaris without this tool if you are at the spot during twilight ).
The customer support is also great as the team reached out to me to confirm my SkyGuider Pro compatibility before shipping the product.
It’s a worthy investment for anyone using Star Guiders without laser guide.
Easy to use star tracker (Newest 2-in-1) - 2022 Milky Way Season is coming!
It makes the calibration easy
Z/V mount for low angle & astro, designed with Alyn Wallace, UK
Exactly what I need, a small, lightweight tracker which can be aligned to polaris in no time. Perfect for landscape astrophotography.
Well manufactured and engineered. One improvement suggestion is to make it Acra Swiss mountable in stead of a screw.
I've only had the chance to use the MSM tracker once but it was mostly for a motion Timelapse. It did great! Installed the MSM tracker onto my tripod then attached my ball head on it. Placed my camera and started my Timelapse. It was very easy to use and I'm looking forward to using it more as a motion Timelapse rotator. Maybe learn how to track the Milky Way one of these days.
All remarks from ambassadors and other users in my opinion are true.
1. Easy installation and polar alignment.
2. Easy to use.
2. Compact and light for transportation.
3. After 3 months use seems good and quality construction.
Also the Z/V plate is very useful even if you have a second ball head. It helps change the center of gravity and keeps more stable your gear on the field .
Very happy for my purchase for light landscape astrophotography. For my needs is what I want.
